The BMW 6 series originally referred to the E24 chassis cars designed to replace the 5 series E9 chassis. The current BMW 6 series refers to E63/E64 chassis cars. The 6 series comes as a two door luxury coupe or two door luxury convertible, with cars ranging from a 3.0 liter I6 engine to a 5.0 liter V10. Cars in the line include the 630i, 635d, 630i, 630Ci and 645Ci in both coupe and convertible form, but the top of the line is the M6 which features that 5.0 liter V10 engine which takes it from 0-100 kph in 4.6 seconds and provides 570 hp and 520 N-m of torque, with a top speed of 250 kph.
