Ford - Rent a Ford Today

While other companies have been struggling to stay afloat in the wake of the economic recession, Ford has been flourishing. Why? It’s a good bet that their long history as one of the great American automakers and their reputation for quality has a lot to do with it. For years, the words “Ford” and “quality” have gone hand-in-hand, and if you’re looking for a great American automobile, there’s a good chance you’re looking for a Ford.
PLEASE NOTE: The Ford Mustang Cabriolet is a popular Marbella rental car in the Summer and we advise you to reserve yours early to avoid disappointment.
The Makes and Models
Ford makes a wide variety of automobiles, under the Lincoln-Mercury brand as well as their own name. Some of the best selling Ford cars include the Ford Focus, which comes as a sedan or a coupe, the Ford Fusion, the Mustang and the Taurus. The Mustang is Ford’s premier sports car, and has been in production for nearly 50 years. It is the very definition of the “muscle car.” The Ford Taurus has also been around for decades as a standard for dependable sedans.
Ford is also well-known for its trucks, which set an American standard for toughness and durability. Today, the Ford F-series trucks are coveted by many people looking for an affordable, medium class truck with plenty of power and capacity.
Innovations
Ford has long produced successful race cars, with the Ford Mustang in particular winning multiple racing championships, and the Ford GT 40 dominating the 24 Hours of Le Mans back in the 1960s. Ford has also won multiple Indianapolis 500 races. In 2008, Ford won the manufacturer’s challenge in the Koni Challenge Cup.
When it comes to environmentally-friendly vehicles, Ford is also leading the way. Ford sells a range of flexible fuel vehicles, which can run on a variety of ethanol fuel mixtures, not just pure gasoline. Some of the vehicles in this line include the F-150, the Focus, the Crown Victoria, the Taurus, the Ranger, the Explorer and the Galaxy. Through a patent-sharing deal with Toyota, Ford also now produces quality hybrid electric vehicles like Ford Escape Hybrid and the Ford Fusion Hybrid. Ford is also looking towards a line of all-electric vehicles in the future.
If you’re looking to rent a car from an American company with a rich history, a reputation for quality and an eye towards fuel efficiency and the environment, consider renting one of the many fine models produced by the Ford Motor Company.
